Our educators are passionate advocates for early education & care

Our staff are working in the ECEC (Early Childhood Education & Care) sector because they are passionate about their work and are strong believers in and advocates for the benefits of early education and care for children, families and society.

Our Edge

Passionate and qualified educators at the heart of our service

At Ascot Early Childhood we acknowledge that the staff are our greatest asset and that the quality of our service is directly impacted by the quality of educators that we select to work for us.

All our educators, whether they are lead, assistant or support educators have or are studying towards a minimum Diploma qualification (above the regulated Certificate level for assistants).

Our Leadership

above and beyond

Our Director holds a Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood), a Bachelor of Education and an Advanced Diploma and Community Sector Management. She has worked in the sector for over 30 years and her pursuit of excellence in service provision resulted in the centre being awarded a rating of “Exceeding National Quality Standards” from the Office of Early Childhood Education and Care.

Our Promise

ongoing learning and development

Our educators are employed according to the Child Care Regulations relevant to Queensland and National Law. All our staff must receive positive Blue Card check before commencing working with children. They also hold current First Aid and CPR certificates.

We actively support the ongoing professional development of all staff members through their attendance at courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.

Our Diversity

rich, vibrant and inclusive

Our educators vary in ages, cultural backgrounds and life experiences bringing a richness and authenticity to the service. They bring contemporary knowledge, highly developed skills, valuable experience and leadership to the centre.
