Our Educators —
Setting the Standard in Early Childhood Education
At Ascot Early Childhood, our educators are the heart of our service and the driving force behind our reputation for excellence. They are passionate, highly skilled professionals who deliver education and care of a standard few can match. Every member of our team is dedicated to creating a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment where children aged 15 months to 5 years are supported to explore, learn, and thrive.
Our educators form strong, respectful partnerships with families, working together to guide each child’s individual learning journey. We take pride in fostering a warm, inclusive community where every child feels valued, confident, and capable — because we believe these are the foundations of lifelong success.
Qualified, Caring, & Committed to Excellence
We go beyond meeting the requirements of the Child Care Regulations of Queensland and the National Law — we exceed them. Every educator at Ascot Early Childhood:
Holds a current Blue Card (positive notice for working with children)
Maintains up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
Completes regular child protection and safety training
Brings advanced knowledge of early childhood development, play-based learning, and the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)
Our educators are more than carers — they are expert facilitators of rich, meaningful learning experiences that shape confident, capable learners.
A Culture of Professional Growth & Innovation
We believe the best educators are those who never stop learning. That’s why we invest heavily in the ongoing development of our team. Our educators engage in:
Leading industry workshops, conferences, and webinars
Specialist training in inclusion, STEM, literacy, sustainability, and more
Mentoring and leadership programs designed to build expertise at every level
This commitment to professional growth means our educators stay at the forefront of early childhood practice — ensuring children benefit from dynamic, thoughtful, and innovative learning programs.
Above-Ratio Staffing
At Ascot Early Childhood, our above-ratio staffing ensures every child receives meaningful attention, strong support, and rich learning opportunities. This allows our educators to form genuine connections, respond to children’s interests, and provide a safe, nurturing environment where each child can thrive.
Our team brings a wealth of skills and experience, with strengths in music, art, storytelling, science, technology, and nature. This breadth inspires engaging, creative learning that sparks curiosity and joy.
By modelling empathy, respect, and curiosity, our educators help build a warm, inclusive community where every child feels valued, confident, and connected.
